Any good vets in WACO, TX?
Hey y'all :)
I live in Waco, and Im getting ready to hopefully welcome some new little suggies into my home, but before I do so I want to know if anyone (I'm not sure if anyone here lives in Waco), has a good Vet. I dont have any problems going to vets and seeing if they can handle suggies, but I wanted to know if anyone had recommendations. :)
thanks
~Lo

Yes i know Shawna is in Georgetown. And She's the closest. I just wish I could find someone closer. In case of emergencies. Georgetown is a good hour and a quater away from me. Not that thats too horrid.

No it's not, most of us do drive an hour or more to our exotic vet.
Waco is decent sized so hopefully you can find one there.

I'll ask around. I have a friend that lives in Kileen that has gliders. I'll see what she says.

There are several exotics ranches not too far from Waco so there are definitely vets that see exotics. This is a link to the Association of Exotic Mammal Vets. Look in the section "Directory of Veterinarians" and see who might be near you. For sure you can find someone closer to Ft. Worth

And remember, it's not the gliders' fault you live where you do. Quite a few of us drive quite far to see the best exotic vets for our animals. It just goes w/the territory.

I never said it was. I said that I rather find one closer. Distance is not a problem for me, but in case of emergencies I would like the closest possible good vet.

For emergencies, you need to find the closest best emergency clinic. Usually they can deal with a glider emergency just as they can other emergencies.
