Besides you have bred RESCUES! And you seem to believe there is no problem with that. I have a huge problem with that, as well as promoting the breeding of gliders without lineage or with obviously close pairings, etc...

Most good breeders care who their gliders go to and what they are going to do with them...

:i agree: I think breeding rescues or looking for cheap or free ones to take in to breed is absurd. If Kayla was NOT your friend maybe she should be, she sticks up for you a whole hell of alot!! She links to you on her site as well as MNRarepets who is also known for bad practices. I think Kitsune stated it VERY well.

HAHA your really funny...Im a mill breeder because of one freaking pair that you dont approve of.Get a life people!!
Their joeys are fine and their grandkids are fine so there is no reason
to stop breeding him.Just because you think your right doesnt mean you are.We dont lie to people when they buy our joeys, they know the lineage and if they decide to pair them with somthing that is closely related that is NOT our fault.
Thats funny do you really think we make a pooh load of money off my gliders?
Well you are wrong,we spend what we get from their joeys on food, cages, toys, vet and anything else they need.
We really dont care if you approve of us and our gliders,we know we have healthy friendly gliders/joeys and thats what matters.People see that and see that we have lineage on them.Theres always going to be someone who doesnt care for us...oh well we cant make everyone happy.

Well, it's VERY obvious from your postings that you don't give a rats donkeybutt about anyone but yourself and the money you can make off of that glider....sad really, that people have worked for YEARS to create good lines and scumbags like you come along and try to undo all of their hard work...

Of COURSE you don't give a pooh about inbreeding, it's VERY obvious your a product of it yourself! Why not take some of the cash you're getting from that poor inbred glider and use it for some grammar lessons. It will really go a long way in helping your credibility when you make a post if people can actually UNDERSTAND it, and then use the rest to remove the third eye from your forehead so you won't look like your brother, uncle, daddy so much and people will stop speculating about YOUR lineage.

Damn, talk about knotted up family trees.....are you sure you're not from Arkansas?

ROFL I'm sure you do, but the question is, do you mind the limb sticking out of your nose? Does it hinder your smelling abilities? Or, does it open doors for you when your OTHER hands are full? :=)):

Actually I never talk about it much because personally, it's nothing to brag about..lol My mom side are the Hatfields. You know Hatfirelds and McCoy's? I know there has to be some inbreeding in the distant cousins some where...Lets hope it's verrry distant! I remember reading about my great, great grandpa (at least that's what I think, it may be further) in my 5th grade social studies book! His name was Devilance Hatfield. I know some of my family aint right and the last family reunion I went too was almost 10 years ago!

I lived there for awhile too. My hubby is from Clarksburg, where's Carl from Janice?

Re: Terri's Petting Zoo (TPZ)

Post by cinnamonstix on Sun Dec 28, 2008 5:15 pm

Hey thanks, and I am finally better...lol. No more being sick. YAY! We are actually having christmas today with Dru's family and I just got done wrapping presents. Ugh! We shopped all day yesterday to get our shopping done what a pain.

Well looking at Terri's gliders...I definitely agree that her Leu should not be bred. My baby boy Nemo has an inbreeding coefficent just a touch higher than Aragorn and came out with a special ear (his defect and thank god it is exterior)...but Nemo was neutered at 12 weeks and mom and dad had been seperated before my Nemo baby was weaned to prevent future breedings of that pairing.

With an efficient that high there should be cause for concern. The lines have been breed out over the years but for some reason Sheila is still producing gliders with inferior lines. This is a whole other topic and I do not look kindly upon anyone closley breeding like this. Terri is continuling the pattern breeding her 14.0625 % CE to a leu het with a .8125 % CE. Sorry but that is pretty poopy of a CE for a het. She came from PP who sold Nemo's parents as a BREEDING pair...recently I am not to thrilled by PP either...again another story...I am less than impressed again. Any joey from the pairing is a 9.5703% CE...not very impressive in the least bit actually.

If Terri feels the absolute NEED to breed either of these...he would be much better off paired with a grey or a WF...someone who does NOT carry the Leu gene. Sure she would not ever have a white baby again from him, but it would be breeding out the line and she would have 100% hets...nothing at all wrong with breeding out and getting hets. As for her het female...try and find a mate that is less related and with a lower CE. There is a way to do it....it is just a matter of being responsible enough to do it the right way.

*Side note....when someone is at your house that you have never met....try to avoid domestic and neighborly disputes...it is bad for business....makes you look trashy. It does not matter if they are picking up a cage you had for sale or a glider...your reputation is at stake still, and people do hear about these other transactions.

Another thing...saying things like your last submission...it makes it look like you don't care. When you and I were PMing back and forth you sounded very caring and sincere. You were very concerned about the two joeys you took in that would not put on weight or eat the glider crack I gave you the recipe for. I hope they started getting better for you. If I read what you wrote and was a future buyer and looking into your gliders, honeltly I would probably steer the other way due to what was said and the never ending drama. I hope that one day you do get your operation fully up to par and that you and everyone else can be happy. In the meantime, if I were you I would work yo improve and not make things worse. I have heard different things regarding your joeys, some have looked great, others have not been 100% of what they should have been. Maybe some of that was with breeding rescues, I am not sure what pairings they were out of, but some have left you and the costomers and not been fully impressed, but they stuck by their babies sides which is wonderful to hear.

I have heard that inbreeding has a direct effect on the temperament of the joeys produced. Can anyone shed a little light on the temperaments of the joeys that come out of this pair? I honestly think that temperament should be one of the major factors we breed for...that, and health, color LAST...
