If she was that concerned about her health, she'd start with not smoking. If it truly is that bad she'd get rid of ALL of the animals including the purty colored ones.

To me, that just screams selfish. It screams "I don't want to take care of THESE gliders because of my 'health', but it's a lot less taxing on me physically to only care for the expensive colored ones".

Wow Valorie, that was an interesting read.

Guess Jen Bailey is off my imaginary Christmas card list. (I don't send cards but IF I did, I have a list in my mind).

Overland Park might just be too close :)

What a read...not too shocked about some, pretty damn disappointed about others. Oh well, whatcha gonna do?

Alicia, I don't know if you remember this, but last year at the RRRoundup, I said we were all 10 years younger than we said we were, because you do not look 43, you're 33 and I am 23...thank you very much! ;)

Well, I wish she had waited a few months before doing this. I was just about to try to rehome some of my babies as soon as I can re-group cages so I have all my colors in together when I pull the greys out to re-home.
I have developed a pretty severe case of assinine-itis. It is really taking a toll on me. Yes my Dr. has instructed me that a downsize will be helpful as more cages to clean is more of a pain in my arse.

I actually have a real reason for needing to keep the colors as I truly can't trust people to take them as PET ONLY. I know they would just breed for their own greedy reasons so I just can't trust.

Not to worry I am going to intro all gliders using the new firehose intro method so noone will be sad and lonely.

If they live thru intros and noone takes them I may have to set them loose out back because euthanizing cost too much and at least that way they nearly have a snowballs chance in hell.

don't forget the mouthwash!!!

and if all else fails, put them in a teensy tiny cage by your bed so they only get to see you when and if you decide to sleep in there... Really helps with those hard-to-bond-with gliders

Re: Teresa/Dancing

I find the powerful blast from the firehose has eliminated the need for scope here at my house. I was testing so I could save the $3 for scope and so far firehose works well.

For the few who got thru and STILL wanted to fight they end up fighting till the death which also helps to decrease cage numbers quite well.

I am so blessed to come up with ideas that work, even if I reach the desired outcome in a little different way I still get the end result I was wanting which is lesser cage numbers. I'm telling ya this just works, simple, effective and fool proof.

I am also thinking about getting rid of Chloee also, in a going green giving back to nature way. We have a huge owl out back and I have heard that they will actually swoop down and grab small dogs left out at night(also will come in handy if I have to release gliders out back). So I am gonna leave her out all night. I wish I had thought to put her out during the hard freeze, would have doubled my chances of not having a dog.

I thought about that bonding stuff but my doc really thinks that the more effort I put out on the animals the worse my assinine-itis will be, I just don't want to chance these animals being a bigger pain in my arse.

For MY Bonnie (and her crazy twisted evil twin Laura) and Valorie, and the very young 23 year old Brenda, here is this years Christmas card (early and not very Christmaseeee)
.....

Merry Christmas my three much much younger friends. Hope the upcoming Holiday season fills you with joy and good health and lost of expensive gifts. I hope you will remember to send me something handmade, handbaked, or alcoholic.

This season I will be donating all my animals to a shelter. I figure that way they will be adopted to be owned by small children at Christmas time. Think of all the joy they will bring the muchkins, until they pee and pooh on them, face hug them, and bite them (small details and not really my problem). Also my doctor has said it is best for me to move to Key West as it is better for my attitude, my dry skin, and my tan. There is no way I can't possibliy take them all with me and... I don't want to.

I will however be keeping this one, because I 'think' we might become emtionally bonded and he will be my 'support' animal.

And I will keep Gannon, and Schwag, and Kim. Their light colors are better suited for the sun. If it wasn't for that I'd keep the gray's but I fear they will be too hot in Florida. I hear light colored gliders are best for that type of weather, and they will match my sun dresses better.

Well girls, that is it for my Christmas letter/imaginary Christmas card. Hope you enjoyed it.

Love you and MO MO MO to you. Alicia
..................................

Sorry guys, I just had to show off my new baby and half you guys don't go to SGN aso I had to find a place for him.

3 cards down, 250 more to go. At this rate I will be done by Christmas :)
