SGAA Check Lists, are you ready?

OMG, I am making myself crazy so I thought I'd come and share with you all.

Karin said I am not allowed to call anymore if all I am going to do is add stuff to her list. You know what I say :finger: (not really).

So I thought I'd come here and make a list for everyone else, I'd share my list but you do NOT want to see it.


Here is everyone else's Check Off?

Have you registered yet? If not please do asap so I can make sure we have the right amount of lunch ordered and the right amount of goodie bags to stuff. I'd hate for anyone to be left out of either.

Have you booked your room yet? If not I'd do that soon. I doubt we are going to run out of rooms but we have had more people register lately and we have run out of rooms booked for us before. We could add more rooms to be booked but not at the last minute.

Have you ordered a t-shirt if you want one? It is in no way a requirement, please don't think I am pressuring you to buy a shirt. I am not. Just a reminder because it can take up to 10 days to arrive from Cafepress. Usually it is under a week but sometimes it does take more time.

Are you going to enter the SGN Block Party cookie and/or brownie contest? If so don't forget about that. It doesn't cost you a think, you don't have to sign up for it. You just have to bring at least a bakers dozen (13 cookies or brownies) to share will off of us. There are cake sets given away as prizes to the winners. I know several of us are bringing cookies but not brownies. So if you have a great brownie recipie and want to win, that would be the one to enter. No way anyone is beating my cookies :=)): :boxing:

Are you set up with your room mates? If not maybe now is the time to call and make sure they are still coming, still have a room booked, whatever.

If you are a vendor and have not heard from Karin about the extra vending item we are asking everyone to do (NOT a requirement) please let her know. Karin from Glider Daydreams.

Are you planning on donating to the door prizes or goodie bags? If so please mail them asap if you are going to mail them.

Are you getting plenty of sleep? Better start now because you are going to need it.

Paula won't, she just needs a friendly proding/poking reminder every now and then. Everyone bailed on her last year so I think she is afraid you and Kris won't come.

I will most likely have about 10 different packing list by the time it comes to packing all my items. At least one glider cage is all packed in a bag just have to grab and go with it. Working on the other glider cage so I just have to grab it and go.

It is getting close, if you have something to mail me for door prize or goodie bags you better mail it soon, lol, I am leaving a few days before the SGGA (the 26th will be the last day I can check my mail). Of course you can bring your items with you if your afraid your package will miss me.

If you plan on vending you need to register for vending soon, we are making a few things up for vendors/a vendor twist this year and it really needs to be done before I get there, so PLEASE if you want to vend... register soon.


Don't forget SGN is having a cookie and brownie contest at the Friday night block party. You LGG girls better get to practicing your cookies.... because my (daughters) oatmeal cookies are the BOMB!!!!!!

SGN block party has had a menu change... no hot dogs. We can not grill or boil, but never fear, we will have something to eat. Probably Prime Rib (not).

If you haven't booked a room yet you better do that soon. We still have a few rooms left in our block but not many.

If you want to order SGGA t-shirts and gear now is the time to do it. Usually you get your order in a week but I have known it to take 10 days sometimes, so better be safe than sorry. SGGA gear will only be sold online at cafepress and they will not be sold at the SGGA.

If you registered with 'pay at door' and you are not comiing, please let me know.

There are still a few people who marked they would send money by mail and it has not been received. Please double check that you have paid for both registration and vending (if you want to vend) or make arrangements to pay at the door.

So far we are up to 87 attendees (sig. others and children included) and I know of at least 10 others that have been too...????.... busy to register but are going.

We also have 16 vendors, that will also increase as we get closer.

Most of my jobs are done, now I can get excited
