It is raining snakes and bunnies, here, apparently. It is raining so much that my yard is flooded. And a baby bunny came hopping up on my porch. I talked to Val, she said leave it. Lets see if momma comes. And while I was talking to her, he hopped into the pool. I got him out, got him in the house and wrapped up, but I don't know what to do now. He is about 5 or 6 inches long, nose to tail, eyes are open. The bunnies here are pretty friendly, and mom and dad eat in my yard every day. ...

I got Shy out of her cage this morning because she was still out at 9:00 am and I tried to feed her mealies and yogis (her favorites) she didnt eat them though. She had a difficult time hanging on to me and going poop. She is extremely constipated and was apparently straining to go. My regular vet is a good vet but he isnt great with emergencies, but I found a vet in edmond 45 minutes from me that has 15 years of experience with gliders. The soonest appointment he can get me in is 4:30 this afternoon, ...

We had an escapee get into a fight through the cage and get a bite on his tail. We have the pair in a small cage to keep an eye on. We have used saline wash to wash it out and put neosporin on it. Anything else we should do for now? Sorry this is jumbled but not really thinking straight here.

I posted this on GC too. Hubbies doesn't want to go to the vet, so...

I was putting food dishes into the cage and Diego jumped on the door. I didn't realize that he was near the hinge when I closed it. He crabbed and it took a second or two to figure out how to open the door back up.

Two of his fingers look swollen, but:

- he is eating worms

- he is using his hand

- he is walking on it, just keeps pulling it up every few minutes

He keeps looking at the paw, washing it, ...

Hey everyone! If anyone in the KS area has the spare room/money/time...I know of several gliders coming out of a pet store situation needing GOOD homes! This pet store is one I've been trying to get shut down for years, and she is finally doing it at the end of the month. She currently has all her gliders for $99. I'm not sure if that's each or total, but I will find out today. I stopped by there briefly yesterday (it's right up the road from me) to look at the sugs, and they're not in the best ...
