Ok the time has come to get Primo Neutered.... and I am scared.

I have had two neuters done, both turned out horrible. Both were done by Santa Clara Animal Hospital in Eugene Oregon. I am told that there are only 2 glider vets here in Eugene.

When I had my first boy neutered, he started to sm right after surgery. I guess they didnt have the e collar on him when he woke up. So they put him under again, re stitched him and sent us home. (remember at this time I knew nothing about ...

I live in Waco, and Im getting ready to hopefully welcome some new little suggies into my home, but before I do so I want to know if anyone (I'm not sure if anyone here lives in Waco), has a good Vet. I dont have any problems going to vets and seeing if they can handle suggies, but I wanted to know if anyone had recommendations. :)

I have one exotics vet I spoke with that has experience with sugar gliders--Dr. Alvin Atlas at Riverview Animal Clinic. They said the emergency clinic also has an exotics vet on call. I'm curious if there's anyone here in AL who can recommend any good clinics within an hour or so drive of Birmingham or any vets IN Birmingham. I just got off the phone with 2 clinics, one doesn't take gliders (they said call the Wildlife hotline) and the other said call tomorrow to talk to the small animal vet. ...

It is raining snakes and bunnies, here, apparently. It is raining so much that my yard is flooded. And a baby bunny came hopping up on my porch. I talked to Val, she said leave it. Lets see if momma comes. And while I was talking to her, he hopped into the pool. I got him out, got him in the house and wrapped up, but I don't know what to do now. He is about 5 or 6 inches long, nose to tail, eyes are open. The bunnies here are pretty friendly, and mom and dad eat in my yard every day. ...

David W is still having health issues with some of his gliders and has asked me for a vet recommendation. I like Dr. Knight, and I trust him for routine care, but if anyone here has a serious illness I would be looking to go to Houston for a bigger MORE knowledgeable vet. Can some of the Houston area folks tell me what vet they use? I seem to recall there were several members (Tracy and/or Peggy maybe???) that all use the same vet as Priscilla. We have used saline wash to wash it out and put neosporin on it. Anything else we should do for now? Sorry this is jumbled but not really thinking straight here.

I posted this on GC too. Hubbies doesn't want to go to the vet, so...

I was putting food dishes into the cage and Diego jumped on the door. I didn't realize that he was near the hinge when I closed it. He crabbed and it took a second or two to figure out how to open the door back up.

Two of his fingers look swollen, but:

- he is eating worms

- he is using his hand

- he is walking on it, just keeps pulling it up every few minutes

He keeps looking at the paw, washing it, ...
