2009 SGGA Hotel Info

I will be sure and let everyone know once things are finalized in the system and rooms can be reserved.

I am posting this information now, since the rooms will be a bit higher this year. We want everyone to have the extra time to budget for the extra expense.

This is a VERY nice hotel in a very nice part of town. The hotel is within walking distance of many shops, restaurants and area attractions. You won't be disappointed with this hotel.

Sat. Night and had a blast. First I had tent time where Gliderbuff joined me and my gliders!!! had some jello shots! Got to visit with Melindakay, magicman, and magiceyze and shuttering heart!! Then went to where all the people were...............................that would be John and Bowmans!! I swear Bowman and Alicia should be stand up comics cause my face hurt so badly from laughing at their stories!!!! The last few posts I've made, it will go to the "your post has been made" screen where it then normally takes you back to the thread automatically. For some reason, I'm being stuck there and have to manually go to the next place. (does that make sense?)

Okay:

1. They provide the HPW and BML, right? How does that work? Do you pick it up each night or get a certain amount? I'm in the 'other' hotel - it was still cheaper than the SGGA rate.

2. Can you still participate in the door decorating contest in the other hotel?

3. I have a 65 gallon reptarium and a 260. I really don't want to pack the 260. BUT - will 4 gliders be okay for 4 nights in a 65?

I'm sure I'll think of others eventually...

I know Teresa had a thread, and you guys are all bored today, so I figured I'd open a new one.

Plus, I hate Karen Milas. I have spent all all my free time today, and yesterday, and some of the day before, sewing SGGA goodie bags. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR I am so sick of looking at them I am almost willing to sew up my own finger to get out of doing them. That is why.... I hate Karen Milas.

Have a call to go to, I'll be back to talk more SGGA.

Hypothetically, say you are rooming with 4 other people, now say that those 4 people all live in the same area and have been getting to know each other. Now say 3 of those people have genuine misgivings about the 4th. And that the 4th person seems to have a sick glider that is not being treated. How would you go about making sure that 4th person doesn't bring sick gliders to the SGGA and compromise the health of the rest of the gliders? Should that person be told they are no longer welcome ...

1. One, what can I expect in general - the time frames, the food, etc.? Do the speeches/seminars take a lot of time, or is mostly just ladies gabbing? (and guys.)

2. What about 'after hours?' Do you have to be pushy and invite yourself or do you wait to be asked? As many you may know, I am 'tact' deficit and tend to speak my mind. I am also shy. I don't realize when I hurt peoples feelings, nor when they try ...

Okay, remember that problem I am having when trying to sign in at work?

Well the same thing happens when Im at home when I try to click any of the links in the "hit list". It opens up a seperate page for the link, but asks me to sign in. When I type in my info, it tells me that same error.

Anyone else have that problem?

I was able to sign in at my mom's house today. I had to take a part of the LGG address out of the address bar to bring me to the regular home ...

I received an email today from Suggiemom informing me that I have been banned from this forum because my email address is too similar to some other formerly banned member. Okay, so apparently, I have been mistaken for someone else.

Luckily, I hadn't logged out when I left for work today, so I guess I can still post this question in this IE window -- but if I try to log into this forum from another computer, it informs me that my account is no longer valid.

One of the areas of the SGGA that gets the most attention is the raffle. The raffle will be on July 26th after all the speakers and it showcases all the great sugar glider products available in our community. Money raised by the raffle carries over to support the next years SGGA.

At first I thought they were related to how many posts you had but then I realized there are different types of stars and some people have more stars than people with less posts than them.
