THE ONLY ACCEPTABLE COURSE OF ACTION IN AN EMERGENCY IS TO GO TO A VET!!
If you are experiencing an emergency situation, follow these steps.
1) Stabilize the glider. In most cases, this means putting the glider in an ecollar.
2) Find your "issue" here and print out some information for your vet. You can also write down numbers to call. Often, members of the community can advise you what to ask the vet for and can give contact numbers for your vet to consult with other vets. DO NOT wait to make calls. Print out relative information for your vet and get in the car.
3) While on the way to the vet, call your vet and tell them you are coming in with an emergency. THEN you can begin calling those on our call list for advise/information.
4) Get to the vet and INSIST that you are seen. Do not leave without answers, meds, treatment, whatever.
5) AFTER the successful vet visit, you can request some financial assistance if needed from the Glider Vet Fund. The GVF is operated by The Glider Initiative. http://www.thegliderinitiative.org.

"There is nothing that goes over the devils back that doesn't come right back under his belly."
I mean hell, what's the LGG world comin' to if we can't even be rude to the rude people any more???
REMEMBER SOME PEOPLE ARE ALIVE SIMPLY BECAUSE IT IS ILLEGAL TO SHOOT THEM
