No Anonymous Reading

Why are guests not allowed to read the board? I thought that awhile back we were all griping at AC for being set up the same way...

Because GC said they would consider linking us if their members had to sign up first. We've done our part so is there anything else we can help you with tonight Megi ?

Nope that was all I was wondering... It came up because twice in the past week I have linked non-members who were either waiting on confirmation or preferred not to join and they were unable to view the site.

If they prefer not to be here than they are better off not reading.

Like I said, one was waiting on a confirmation that the board software was delayed in sending. The other was a member of the old board, but prefers not to make the move to the new board.

Actually, the whole thing came about when Anita got her panties in her crack because she got banned accidentally by IP cuz it was during the whole John thing.....she went to AC and pitched a hissy fit any two year old would be extremely proud of about how she was such an angel and had never even been reprimanded and here she was banned from a site she wasn't even a member of...she went on to say that she only came here to read, etc., etc., etc., I decided then that if people were so freakin' interested in what we had to say, they could join to read it.

Soooo, she ran over to AC to cry about us now requiring membership. Cindykb came running to her defense saying what an awful thing that was, to require people to become members to be able to read and how neither of them would EVER stoop so low as to join a site that required membership.......I then pointed out to them that AC in fact requires membership to read most of the stuff available.....kb told me I was a big smart donkeybutt and that was the end of THAT......ROFLMFAO!!!

Of course, it made them out to look like ridiculous asses so the thread disappeared right about the same time that the fluorescent green glider pictures of Kia disappeared as well....you know, the ones Anita posted poking fun of Cindy's poor little orange, sickly glider?

So people can join if they want to read and if they can't wait a day or two for activation then I don't know what to tell em'.......
