SGGA raffle information

It’s time for the 10th annual SGGA, this year it will be held in Tulsa Oklahoma July 26th and 27th hosted by Anita Totty. You can find more information on this years SGGA at http://www.sgga.all4gliders.com/

One of the areas of the SGGA that gets the most attention is the raffle. The raffle will be on July 26th after all the speakers and it showcases all the great sugar glider products available in our community. Money raised by the raffle carries over to support the next years SGGA.

I would like to invite all members of the sugar glider community, and especially the established vendors to donate items to the raffle. All sugar glider products will be accepted large and small. This is a great way to show your support for the SGGA and to introduce your products to a huge population of sugar glider addicts.

Your name will be recorded on the SGGA program as well as what you donated. If you are a vendor with a website, that will also be included on the SGGA website, and also in the program. It is a great tool for getting your products seen.

If you are not a vendor but will still like to show your support, many vendors will ship directly to the SGGA for you and include your name.

Items always needed for the SGGA raffle are…

Pouches and cage sets

Toys, both for the cage and for tent time

Treats for gliders, yogurt drops, dried fruit, etc. But if you send a food good make sure it is packaged well so it will stay fresh

BML and HPW supplies, vitamins, and other items like glideraide

Cages, large or small travel cages

Food dishes/water bottles

Original and unique times, in the past we have received art work, clothing, one of a kind pieces

Tents and other enclosed play areas.

Quilts are always a huge hit, who wouldn’t love a cozy sugar glider quilt.

Books related to sugar glider, informational and children’s books.

Sugar glider toys for children.
Blenders, ice cube trays, measuring equipment.

Emergency supplies

This is just a few things I could think of, but I am sure you have great ideas of your own, don’t think you have to go by my list, use your creativity. Really, anything related to sugar gliders is happily accepted. It is always so interesting to see all the neat things that other people think of, what a great way for a whole community to get new ideas.

We would love to have all donations in by June 15th, but we understand if your item is too big to ship and you’d like to bring it with you, please send me an email if that is what you’d like to do. Any donation after June 15th is still gladly accepted, but we may not have time to include your name in the program and it makes more work for us at the SGGA if everything comes in at the last minute.
